X-Ray High Density

The nature of any hospital's Radiology X-Ray File distribution is not only critical to health delivery systems but to overall patient care.  By putting X-Ray Files on a High Density Mobile Aisle System, the VA Radiology Department was able to reduce floor space requirements while increasing thru-put.

The electronic controls coupled with the Light Carpet Safety system results in a seamless interface that allows the department to access any file with the simple push of only one button.

The Aisle Lighting System puts additional light on the aisle being accessed.  This increases activity efficiencies while reducing the operational cost of the the room.  UV rated fixtures also assure the department of proper handling of the X-Ray files.

Reconfiguraton of existing unit for new application:

The VA Hospital Reduced the size of their X-Ray Support Storage and Retrieval System to reflect the implementation of the new imaging system.  This freed up some carriages and shelving for other areas within the campus.

The mobile aisle design is such that reconfiguring the units for different media and a different plan view was accomplished without using any new equipment.  This not only resulted in the efficient use of space and existing equipment, but protected the VA original investment in the original system.

The VA Maintenance Support Services department is able to store and retrieve a variety of maintenance parts and testing equipment in reduced space.  The end result is a true multi-application design of the equipment that is easily adapted for a variety of needs.
