Joe Gutheinz, an experienced filing specialist, established NTBS Storage and Retrieval in 1976 under the name North Texas Business Systems. The company's mission was to consult with other businesses and find an efficient organizational solution for their media; one that afforded increased storage capacity and a decrease in the number of filing errors, while at the same time utilizing less space. This resulted in the conservation of money, time, and space for the customer. North Texas Business Systems represented manufacturers of color-coded filing systems (VRE, now GBS), along with manufacturers of high quality, state of the art storage and retrieval equipment.
  North Texas Business Systems grew and rapidly expanded its sales territory to include regions outside of the North Texas area, thus the name NTBS Business Systems. Throughout the years, NTBS has prided itself in representing only high-quality manufacturers, and in striving to provide the best customer service possible. NTBS has, today, highly trained and experienced installers and service personnel.
